Dr. Wang joined the faculty in spring 2019. She earned her Ph.D. in economics from Florida International University in the fall of 2016. Prior to joining Niagara University, she was a visiting lecturer of economics at Cornell University.

Dr. Wang’s primary research focus is Chinese economy. Her current research has two directions: one is about the future of employment in China, especially the impact of the ‘Robot Revolution’ on China’s labor market; the other one concerns the Chinese shadow banking system.
