Bio

Professor Rahelich joined Niagara University in 2003. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Communicative Sciences from the University at Buffalo, and her Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University College at Buffalo. She currently teaches numerous levels of American Sign Language, and works as a speech pathologist full time. Krista holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence for the American Speech and Hearing Association and her New York State licensure in speech language pathology.  She has been published for her work regarding the special education qualification requirements in each state. She can be seen around campus at many of the ASL events we hold.

Why I Sign: 

The first reason is my love of languages and especially my love of ASL. The second is because of the beauty and expressiveness of the language.
