Why I Chose NU

I chose NU because, right from the start of my transfer process, I felt as if they were welcoming me into a family. The staff, professors and students all made me feel as if I was their priority even before I had accepted my offer. It was noticeable while touring campus that there was a one-to-one relationship between students and professors that you don’t see at many other colleges. I knew right away that this atmosphere was going to be the best one to enhance my learning.

My Favorite Place on Campus

My favorite place on campus is definitely the Gallagher Center, I enjoy getting a coffee, catching up on my work, and meeting new people at the same time! I also spend a lot of time in the library’ it's an escape to get out of my residence hall when I can't focus on doing my work!

Hobbies

Outside of doing school work, I enjoy doing many things with my roommate. I really enjoy going hiking on scenic trails, especially at the gorge and around campus. I am looking into getting involved with the women's rugby team here on campus, and I enjoy shopping, especially thrift shopping and baking! Overall, I look for many things to do around campus when I am not caught up with class or school work.
