Application Requirements

MAIS applications are accepted on a rolling basis. In order to initiate the admission process the following documents must be provided:

Online NU application: Please click the Apply Online link on the left menu and fill out the forms. 

Official Transcripts: Any prior undergraduate and graduate course work must be documented through official transcripts sent directly from the school.

Personal Statement: A one to two-page essay explaining your intended study plan at MAIS and how this degree is relevant to your career development.

Two Reference Letters: They could be submitted through the online application or emailed directly to the Program Director. At least one reference should be from an academic advisor or professor.

For International Applicants

WES: A degree evaluation by WES for any coursework obtained outside of the US or Canada: www.wes.org 

TOEFL: Applicants, whose native language is not English, must submit their TOEFL score. Please visit NU's TOEFL Requirements page to find out specific information on scores: www.niagara.edu/toefl-requirements
