Careers Directly Related to ASL/Deaf Studies

*NOTE* Our program does not provide degrees or specified training in the follow programs but we do provide a foundation of knowledge that can be used along with further training to pursue these careers

  • ASL/English Interpreter
  • Teacher of the Deaf (TOD)
  • Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Special Education Teacher
  • Audiologist
  • Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist

This minor also provides a knowledge base both linguistically and culturally to prepare students in any profession to work with Deaf/Hard of Hearing individuals and will complement any major.
