Accepted International Students

Acceptance Process

Once all the required documents are received by the Admissions Office, the applicant will be evaluated for admission and scholarship packages. Admissions must receive all application materials including TOEFL or IELTS scores for nonnative English speakers. These materials must be received by Aug. 1 for the fall semester and Dec. 1 for the spring semester. Any documents received after these dates may make it difficult to enroll for that particular semester. Please understand that as an international student, you must also allow time for visa document issuance, which varies from country to country. The local United States Embassy or Consulate may be able to give a suggested timeline for visa processing.

Registration for classes will be done in conjunction with the deans of each college upon arrival at the NU campus.
