Wireless Network

Niagara University's wireless network, known as "PurpleHaze", is available in the following locations:

• St. Vincent's Hall
• Library
• Gallagher Center
• DePaul Hall
• Dunleavy Hall
• O'shea Lounge
• Clet Lounge
• Seton Lounge
• Clet Dining Hall
• Bisgrove Hall / Academic Complex

It is coming soon to several other locations on campus, including many outdoor areas. If your computer has wireless built into it, it will detect the PurpleHaze network. If your computer does not have wireless capability, the IT Help Desk sells USB 802.11g Wireless Adapters. Feel free to call x7300 or e-mail helpdesk@niagara.edu for more information.

Accessing PurpleHaze

Once your computer has detected the PurpleHaze network open your web broswer. You will be directed to the wireless network authentication page. Please use your PurplePass if you are a student. For faculty and staff use your computer login. Once you have authenticated you will be redirected to the Niagara home page.
