Welcome Back

Hello all, I’m back. Break was, to say the least, absolutely amazing! It was nice to wake up on the mornings that I didn't work and just sit there, not worrying about a paper due or sections I needed to read; I was able to just relax. My whole family was home for the holiday also, another great perk. I was fed an incredible amount of food and man was it good! Sorry, NU, momma’s cookin’ wins every time.

I’m a veteran now, sort of. I have survived my first semester in college here at Niagara University. Yes, it’s hard but that’s what it is supposed to be. Obviously, you need to let loose sometime and enjoy college. That’s what the weekends are for, but it is mainly about furthering your education, at least that’s how it is for me. I’m praying that this semester goes even better, which will be hard to do.

Now that it’s been a couple weeks since we came back, I’m starting to get back into the swing of things. I took 18 credit hours this semester; shoot me now. On the plus side, I have been working with the Division I soccer team for a month-long tryout. It’s definitely a challenge but I absolutely love it! These guys have that passion for soccer that I have and, even if I don’t make the team, it has been a pleasure working with them. Fingers crossed, hopefully I make it. I've never wanted anything more at this point in my life.

One of the coolest classes that I will probably take here at NU is my CAT lab this semester. Basically, we dissect a cat throughout the entire semester. For those of you who are squeamish or love cats, you might disagree with me or find it disgusting, but it is pretty legit to see all the different muscles and bones once you skin the cat.

Well that’s all I got for now. Be safe, everyone!

Autobots…roll out!
