Undergraduate Commencement - Saturday, May 13, 2017

Morning Ceremony:

The College of Business Administration / The College of Education / The College of Hospitality and Tourism Management
Assemble at 9 a.m. in the Gallagher Center (lower level)
Commencement begins promptly at 10 a.m.

Afternoon Ceremony:

The College of Arts and Sciences
Assemble at 2 p.m. in the Gallagher Center (lower level)
Commencement begins promptly at 3 p.m.

Tickets

  • Admission by ticket only! Tickets are REQUIRED by all family and guests attending the undergraduate commencement ceremony. No one will be admitted into the Gallagher Center without a ticket. Graduating students do not need a ticket.  Use of tickets is required in order to avoid exceeding attendance limits determined by the local fire safety officials.
  • Students will be allotted four (4) tickets each.
  • Students will be required to complete a Senior Survey prior to receiving their tickets.

Students will have the following options for obtaining tickets:

Tickets will be distributed through the Center for Conferences and Events during the following dates and times:

April 24-28, 2017

  • 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • Bisgrove Hall Atrium

Extended Hours:

Tuesday, April 25, and Wednesday, April 26, 2017

  • 7-9 p.m.
  • Bisgrove Hall Atrium

If additional tickets are available, redistribution will take place at a date to be announced on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note that the number of tickets to be distributed may be limited. Based upon total attendance and building capacity, a limited number of tickets may be available.

August 2016 and January 2017 Graduates

Students who graduated in August 2016 and January 2017 who will be participating in the ceremony must complete a "Commencement Ticket Request Form," found in the upper right hand corner of their myNU page. (Ticket request forms will be available April 5, 2017)

Students will have the following options for obtaining their tickets:

Pick up tickets in the Bisgrove Hall Atrium:

April 24-28, 2017

  • 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Extended Hours:

Tuesday, April 25, 2017, and April 26, 2017

  • 7-9 p.m.

OR  

Pick tickets up at Will Call on May 13, 2017

The College of Business, College of Education, and the College of Hospitality/Tourism

  • 8-9:30 a.m.
  • Castellani Art Museum Sculpture Court
  • Students will be required to show their ID and sign for their own tickets.
  • Student procession will begin promptly at 10 a.m.

The College of Arts and Sciences

  • 1-2:30 p.m.
  • Castellani Art Museum Sculpture Court
  • Students will be required to show their ID and sign for their own tickets.
  • Student procession will begin promptly at 3 p.m.
