Attention Learn & Serve Students! School Closings, Vacations, Attendance, etc:

It is in your best interest to verify school closings directly with your participating teacher.

Attendance is an important issue. The local schools depend on our students to be there at the scheduled time. Excessive absences (two or more) will be reported to your instructor. Students who do not complete their 20 hours by December 5, are in jeopardy of receiving an incomplete or failing grade in their course. This may severely affect your ability to meet your graduation requirements. We expect these hours to be completed on a regular basis throughout the semester as scheduled. This means that you are not allowed to condense your hours into two or three full days unless there are some greatly extenuating circumstances.

Transportation is provided to Niagara University students who are participating in Learn and Serve affiliated activities. Students must register for the placement/activity prior to signing up for transportation.

If you are in a class with a Service Learning component of 3 hours, click here to see what activities NUCAP has to offer. There is no need to sign up for transportation to a NUCAP activity, it is automatically provided for you.

If you are a student participating in a Learn and Serve affiliated activity and you need transportation to your site and you have already received your placement, click here to sign up for transportation.
