Bio

Josie returned to her hometown of Buffalo, NY in 2010 after a successful career in Los Angeles, acting in  theatre and film, with numerous guest and co-starring roles on popular prime time TV shows (Friends, e.r., NYPD Blue, CSI:NY, 24, Weeds to name a few). Locally, she’s appeared in the acclaimed all-female Macbeth with Shakespeare in Delaware Park;   the critically acclaimed, Artie Award and Best of WNY winning one woman show, Dai (Enough!) at the Jewish Repertory Theatre of Buffalo; and others at JRT, Rochester’s DCT, The Kavinoky, Buffalo Laboratory Theatre, and recently the widely acclaimed All My Sons at the Irish Classical in Buffalo.  At NU, Josie teaches Styles, Acting Shakespeare, On-Camera Acting, and Theatre Appreciation, In LA (Actor’s Bootcamp), in NYC (NYU’s Stonestreet Studios) and also coaches privately. Also a scenic painter, Josie has painted sets from the west to east coast, including Theatre Banshee, The Kavinoky Theatre, The Irish Classical, Shakespeare in Delaware Park, and NU’s Almost Maine, Pirates of Penzance and Curtains. Most recently, she both acted in and painted for MARSHALL, a feature film shot in Buffalo this past summer, starring Chad Boseman, Josh Gad and Kate Hudson.
