Bio

Ian is happy to be returning to Niagara University where he received a BFA in Theatre and a BA in English in 2005.  Since then he has also received a MFA in Theatre Pedagogy from Virginia Commonwealth University.  Ian has worked in many capacities throughout the Buffalo region working for such companies as Shakespeare in Delaware Park, Kavinoky Theatre, Subversive Theatre, Theatre of Youth, Coop’s Spotlight Productions, Western Door Playhouse, Niagara Fine Arts and The Greater Niagara Ballet.  He also worked as a teacher and director in a number of local schools including Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart, Niagara Wheatfield High School, St. Amelia’s School, St. Steven’s and Canisius High School.  He also shares the 2010 Kenny Award with Terri Filips Vaughan, associate professor of dance and choreographer in NU’s department of theatre and fine arts, for outstanding choreography for their work on Cats at Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart.
