Theatre Scholarships

An Affordable, Private Education

Because private college tuition can be costlier than those at public institutions, many students think they won't be able to afford this kind of exceptional experience. Fortunately, that's not the case. What many may not know is that private colleges like Niagara can offer students a wider range of grants, scholarships, and loans. In fact, Niagara University offers great merit scholarships for freshmen and transfers, and a unique level tuition plan to help families and students afford and manage a Niagara education.

Theatre Scholarships

The Department of Theatre & Fine Arts offers 15 Niagara University Theatre and LaFalce Scholarships. Each is valued at approximately quarter tuition. LaFalce Scholarships are awarded to students who reside in former congressman John J. LaFalce’s congressional district.

Those students who wish to be considered for one of these scholarships are required to audition (performance) or present a portfolio with interview (design/technology). Additionally, financial need and the student’s academic profile are taken into consideration.

The audition dates for the 2012-2013 Niagara University Theatre & LaFalce Scholarship auditions will be:

Saturday, March 24 & Saturday, March 31, 2012
Leary Theatre, Elizabeth Ann Clune Center for Theatre

Applicants need only attend one of these dates.
