Jack Ampuja, Executive Director,
MBA Faculty
Jack T. Ampuja is a widely recognized expert in global logistics and packaging optimization. In the past ten years he has twice held a VP level position in logistics at Fortune 500 companies. A native of Finland with dual U.S. and Canadian Citizenship, Jack now leads the consulting firm Supply Chain Optimizers.

Melissa Heidt, Secretary
Melissa Heidt is secretary to the faculty in Accounting and Management and is active in supporting the three professional development centers in the College of Business. In 2005 she was recognized for her dedication--highlighted by excellent customer service, outstanding work ethic and great attitude. Born in Simi Valley, Ca.

Dr. Jim Kling, Academic Director, Faculty
Jim Kling established the Center in the year 2000 and teaches at the undergraduate and graduate level as well as professional development courses. His areas of expertise include inventory management and airline strategy. He was born in Rochester, N. Y. and received his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Dr. Tenpao Lee, Professor, Faculty
Tenpao Lee teaches Global Supply Chain management as well as other undergraduate courses. Additionally, he has expertise in Six Sigma and statistics. He was born in Taiwan and in 2005 accompanied a group of students there on an "academic tour." He received his Ph.D. from Iowa State University.

Gerry Catalano, Programs Coordinator
Gerry Catalano joined the center in 2001 and manages the critical logistics of managing publicity, setting up professional development programs and organizing the annual conference.
Gerry has a background in Transportation and Third Party Logistics Management, an industry he still follows closely. Gerry is a Buffalo native.

Dennis Sullivan, Alumni Relations and Special Projects, Adjunct Faculty
Niagara University Class of 1971, Dennis joined the Center in 2003 and brings his extensive transportation and management knowledge into the classroom. He has served as a VP of Distribution among other titles and teaches our undergraduate course in procurement.
