Student Records and Financial Services

The Office of Student Records and Financial Services is designed to be a “one-stop” resource for information relating to academic records and registration, financial aid and student accounts.

Our knowledgeable and professional staff is available to assist students and parents. The office is located on the northeast section of campus in the Butler Building, which also houses Health Services and the Campus Store.

Financial Aid

Niagara University is committed to helping students and their families afford an exceptional college education.  Our philosophy of awarding financial aid is in keeping with our Vincentian tradition of helping others from all walks of life. In short, our goal is to provide students with a positive, caring environment so that they may grow to their full potential as well-educated and well-balanced individuals, regardless of their economic or social backgrounds.

While NU cannot fund the entire cost of an education for everyone, in most cases our Financial Aid staff can find innovative ways to make an NU education affordable. Information on federal, state and NU based programs and scholarships is available through the Financial Aid Office as are financing options and important deadlines.

Records Office

The Records Office handles class registrations including any adjustments such as adding or dropping a class. Current students can register and make adjustments via their WebAdvisor account during established periods.

Registering for classes and making schedule adjustments can be completed using your WebAdvisor account starting April 10th for the summer and fall 2012 semesters until midnight Monday, September 3. Starting Tuesday, September 4, all registrations and drop/adds must be processed through the Records Office. Undergraduate students should see their advisor for paperwork and bring it to our office. Graduate students should contact their dean’s office.

Information on academic calendars, course offerings and availability, and exam and registration schedules can also be found in Records. In addition, we process all transcript requests, enrollment verifications (including international) and loan deferments.

Student Accounts

Student Accounts can provide you with assistance related to various monetary assets such as billing schedules and fee structures as well as adding funds to your Convenient Campus Service accounts. Additionally the office provides information on refund policy, payment plans and meal plan options. We are essential to your success and work with you to ensure your payments are up to date, which allows you to focus on your classroom responsibilities.

Important messages regarding student accounts are sent through your myNU account so check it often!
