Standardized Testing

Niagara University requires that prospective students take a standardized test as part of the admissions requirements for our graduate programs. 

Education Students

Education students may be required to take either the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) www.gre.org or the Miller Analogies Test (MAT) www.milleranalogies.com. For your convenience, if you would like to register to take the Miller Analogies Test, you can call Kathy Palazzo in the Counseling Services Office at 716.286.8536 to take this exam right here at Niagara University.

Criminal Justice & Interdisciplinary Studies Students

Criminal Justice & Interdisciplinary Studies students must take the GRE and can visit the website above for testing locations.

MBA Students

MBA students are required to take the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), and may visit www.mba.com for testing sites and administration dates.

International Students

For international students interested in studying at Niagara University, you must take the Test of English as a Second Language (TOEFL). For more information, visit www.toefl.org. You will also be required to take any other exams required by your department.
