Krieg, Vanessa - I graduated in January 2008 from the Niagara University BSW program and the knowledge and experience I gained through this program has far surpassed my initial expectations.  Through Niagara's thorough and challenging programming, I hve acquired a comprehensive knowledge of generalist social work practice which was further strengthened through the course's field practicum.  My education at Niagara has allowd me to secure an immediate position on a clinical team in the field of mental health. I can be contacted at vanessa_krieg@hotmail.com

Montemarano, Sandrina - Being a Canadian transfer student from Niagara College, the transition in coming to Niagara University was a smooth one that I look back on as being a beneficial part to my continuing education in Social Work.  Niagara University is a highly respected and accredited name that creates opportunities and truly lives up to its reputation as one of the most respected undergraduate Social Work Programs.  Upon completion of this program I was able to quickly achieve a career as a Child Protection Worker in the child welfare setting.  The combination of critically challenging courses, the research conference and the Learn and Serve/field experience all have helped to strengthen my skills in becoming a competent Social Worker.  These skills stem from the knowledge of social work values, ethics, and obligations that are connected with the profession.  They are consistent with the essential facilitative qualities and reflect the characteristics of professionalism that is hightly regarded in this field. I can be contacted at sanj916@hotmail.com
