Burns, Rosemarie - I worked as a Service Coordinator at Venture Forthe, Inc. located in Niagara Falls, NY. until August 1, 2003.  Venture Forth provides rehabilitative services to persons who have experienced a Traumatic Brain Injury.  Beginning August 4, 2003, I started working at Guildcare located in Niagara Falls, NY.  Guildcare is a medical day health care program designed for adults with medical and visual impairments living in Niagara County.  The clients are individuals with diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataracts, and glaucoma as well as individuals with major medical problems such as diabetes, strokes, Parkinsons and heart disease.  I  earned my MSW from the University of Buffalo in 2005. Durksen, Sheri - Following graduation I worked for Family and Children's Services Niagara as a child protection worker.  In 2004, I graduated from Wilfred Laurier University with a Master's degree in Social Work.  I am currently employed by the Family Counselling Centre in St. Catharines, Ontario as a family and child therapist.  I am also the therapist for our local Child Advocacy Counselling program providing services to children who have been sexually and physically abused as well as their families. Malchow, Colleen - After graduationing in 2002 from NU, I spent roughly two years working with Child & Family Services' Haven House which is located in Buffalo, NY, couseling and advocating for victims of domestic violence.  In August 2003, I bgan law school at the University of Buffalo.  I graduated in 2006 and passed the bar exam on my first try!  Since April 2007, I have been working at Lewis & Lewis, P.C. representing injured workers in Workers' Compensation cases.  I can be reached at beezus498@hotmail.com

McGrain, Heather - I have been working as a Case Coordinator for the Child Advocacy Center of Niagara since 11/01 and I live in Niagara Falls.  I am currently going to school at UB for my MSW and will be finished in August '04.  I am also obtaining a certificate in Trauma Counseling at UB currently and should be finished in Spring '04.  I can be reached at Heather.McGrain@nfmmc.org

Montreuil, Christine - I went on to the University of Toronto and finished my Masters Degree in 2003, and I am registered with the Ontario College of Social Work.  I started a private counselling practice called "Resilience Counselling and Consulting," and I am working part-time as a Social Worker in the Emergency Department of the Hamilton General Hospital.  I can be reached at radclyffehall@hotmail.com or chris.montreuil@sympatico.ca

Sajdak Fritschi, Krista - After graduation, I completed one year of volunteer service work through the Vincentian Service Corps in New York City.  I was working as a Preventive Services Case Planner and Co-Facilitating a pre-adolescent Girls Group at an agency called Little Sisters of the Assumption Family Health Service (LSA for short).  I married over the summer of 2006 and have relocated back to Buffalo.  I graduated from SUNY Buffalo in May 2008 with my MSW.  Currently, I am working for Fellowship House, Inc. at the Madonna House.  I am the Social Worker at the facility and my job includes working with mothers (who have substance abuse issues) and their children.   I can be reached at kmf706@yahoo.com

Smith, Erin - I attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore to obtain my Master's Degree in Social Work and graduated in May 2003.  I am now currently employed with RCI Therapeutic Foster Care Services of Baltimore, Maryland working as a Caseworker.  I am planning on taking the licensing exam in Maryland within the next few months.  I recently received a promotion and I am now the Operational Analyst for the agency and will be overseeing all of our offices productivity.  I will be traveling through Virginia, Tennessee, Washington, D.C. and Maryland. Teal, Matthew - I live in Rochester, NY with my wife Peggy and am currently working at MainQuest Treatment Center in downtown Rochester as an Alcoholism Counselor specializing in MICA clients.  I am planning on returning to school for my Master's and am working towards a CASAC license.

Warchol, Laura - After graduation, I attended Case Western Reserve  University and completed my Master of Science in Social Administration in August 2003.  Upon completion of my MSSA, I relocated to Chicago, IL. where I still reside.  In December 2003, I took a position with the Jewish Children's Bureau of Chicago as a Foster Care Case Manager.  Since that time, the agency has merged with another to form Jewish Child & Family Services and I have changed position to the Intake Coordinator, a Therapeutic Parenting Coach and am now a full time Supervisor for four foster care case workers.  I also have my LCSW (clinical licensure in IL) since July, 2006.  I can be reached at laura.warchol@gmail.com

Yengo, Erica - I graduated in May 2003 from UB with my Masters in Social Work.  I am currently working at Catholic Charities West Side Family Counseling Center.  I will also hopefully be taking the CSW exam sometime before 2004.  You can reach me at EricaDY@aol.com
