Angus, Lyn - I completed my MSW at UB graduating in May 2002 and started working at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, Community Mental Health Center as a Behavioral health therapist in July of 2002. I am one of three therapists with a case load of approximately 100 adults (18+). We work hand in hand with psychiatrists who see the clients to officially diagnose and medicate. We see clients with diagnoses from depression, anxiety to schizophrenia and bi-polar disease. All client's are seen in the Clinic - no home visits required. Moore, Denise - I am currently residing in Clearwater, Florida. I am planning to attend University of Southern Florida in Spring 2008 to begin my MSW. My daughter was born in January 2001 and her name is Racine. I am working at Hillsborough Kids, Inc. in Tampa, FL as a Care Manager. Rizzi-Nunez, Angela -I am living in Binghamton, NY, and have been married to Rafael for 4 years now and we have a beautiful daughter named Mia who was born in February 2006. She is keeping us very busy these days. I am still working for the United Methodist Homes and have been here for 4 1/2 years. I am now working as the Case Manager in our Adult Care Home and really enjoy working with the elderly. I will be enrolling in school in the part-time (RN) nursing program in the fall of 2008. Van Every-Huber, June - After graduating from NU, I received my MSW from the UB School of Social Work. I am now a CSW and work in the Niagara-Wheatfield School System as their first social worker. I work at the Tuscarora Indian Elementary School on the Tuscarora Indian Reservation. My job duties include working with students that have an Individual Education Plan (IEP), close collaboration with the teaching and administrative staff, crisis intervention, referral and support for families and I have many opportunities to begin new programs and support groups. Some of these are Character Education, Respect Committee, and my pet project the Transition Program for students going from 6th to 7th grade. There I teach conflict resolution, how to deal with bullying, stereotyping as well as addressing the cultural differences (reservation to public school.) There is never a dull moment and the students love to come and have lunch with me!
