What can I do with a major in Social Work?
Advanced Standing
Students who complete the accredited social work degree at NU are able to obtain advanced standing in master's of social work (MSW) programs. This allows them to be able to complete the master's programs in one year, rather than the two years required for a non-social work major, if they are pursuing it full-time.
