Niagara University Theatre will warm up cold winter evenings and afternoons with "She Stoops to Conquer" by Oliver Goldsmith. This rollicking comedy appropriately subtitled "The Mistakes of a Night" is about a bachelor who is tongue tied around eligible elegant women, but downright aggressive around working class women.  Toss in domineering parents, stolen jewelry, and a black sheep, no-good brother- and no wonder it's one of the most produced comedies in the English speaking world, not to mention President George Washington's favorite play ever! The production will be directed by Doug Zschiegner, associate director of Niagara University Theatre, and presented at 415 Plain Street at the Church in Lewiston.
