Thailand is one of the most vibrant countries in Asia. This unique graduate course is designed to provide various multicultural educational experiences with Thai administrators, teachers and students. Program participants will explore Thai school organization, teaching methodology and educational philosophy. The program itinerary includes visits to several schools in Bangkok and cultural excursions to the coastal city of Phuket and to the tribal area of Chiang Mai. Students will have both an opportunity to observe and to teach. This three credit hour course satisfies the requirement for coursework in multicultural education and provides field experience hours. The course is only offered in the mid-summer.
