Campus Safety personnel perform mobile unit safety patrols, building security rounds, and residence hall compliance patrols to monitor for suspicious activity and safety hazards.
Personal Safety Escorts:
Shuttle safety escorts are available at any time on campus. You can contact Campus Safety at ext. 8111 by using any campus direct phone or blue-light phone.
Fire Safety Awareness Programs:
Fire extinguisher training, periodic fire drills, awareness seminars/articles, and code enforcement are provided to help ensure your safety. You can help by reporting any suspicious activity immediately to Campus Safety.
Operation Identification:
Your personal property can be engraved/labeled with a unique ID # at the Campus Safety office to aid in investigations of missing property.
Equipment Loan:
By providing identification at the Campus Safety office, equipment may be loaned out based on availability such as: jumper cables, automobile jack, lock de-ice, hand tools, and shovels.
Lost & Found:
Lose something? Lost & found locations on campus are at Campus Activities in the Lower Level Gallagher Center or in the Campus Safety office in Perboyre Hall. If you have found any property, please bring it to the Campus Safety office.
Medical Transport:
The Campus Safety Department provides non-emergency transportation to and from university Health Services, hospital emergency room, and campus residence halls. During business hours, it is required to contact Health Services prior to transport. Resident students after hours must request an RA to call for transportation to the hospital. Ambulances are summoned for all health emergencies.
