You Can Help Our Garden Grow
Volunteers are needed to help with planting vegetable, fruit, herb, and flower seeds and seedling on June 10th at the Highland Community Vegetable Garden. There will be FREE refreshments provided in exchange for your helping/dirty hands.
Individuals, agency, and groups of all ages that would like to volunteer and see what's growing in Highland are welcome!
**Please note: Participants under 18 must be accompanied by and adult/guardian**
The HCV Garden, located at the Henry J. Kalfas Magnet School (1800 Beech Avenue, NF) is a neighborhood garden consisting of 25 raised beds with vegetable, fruit, and herb varieties planted and maintained by area residents, including local youth groups. Last year was the garden's first harvest, and we look forward to having a successful crop again this year with help and support from people like you!
Come out and help us sow seeds of community through gardening!
