Do lab rats exist in clinical psychology labs, you ask? The photo below provides proof of the existence of these nocturnal creatures. Senior honors students Jessica Mahoney and Michelle LoFurno were caught by Dr. Osberg's roving camera in their clinical psych lab rat natural habitat on Wednesday morning, May 3, 2006 at 9 a.m. Armed with their laptops, doughnuts, and pillows, the two reportedly worked on their theses all night before escaping for a 45-minute nap in Jessica's car in the parking lot from 8:15-9. It should be noted that the two gave well received presentations of their findings at the NU Undergrad Research Conference two days later and successfully defended their theses the following week. Both are headed for doctoral programs in clinical psychology in the fall.
