Donald P. Bielecki was named vice president for institutional advancement at Niagara University in January of 2007. A native of Tonawanda, he joined NU in 2002 as associate vice president for advancement. Before that, he had served as associate director of individual gifts and gift planning at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy.

Bielecki holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the State University of New York at Albany, where he was earlier employed and twice honored as administrator of the year. He is a member of the National Society of Fundraising Executives and the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.
