Michael J. Freedman brings a strong background in media relations, website content management, graphic design, marketing and communications to the position. As Niagara's assistant director of public relations and manager of online content, he will serve as a liaison for print and broadcast media, coordinate internal communication initiatives and establish and implement a plan for all online content, including the university website and all social media sites operated by the university.

A graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo with a B.A. in communications, Freedman most recently served as the director of communications at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute in Buffalo. Previously, he held the same position for five years at Artpark in Lewiston.
