Tom Burns brings a strong background in media relations, marketing and communications to his position as associate vice president for public relations, communications and marketing. As associate vice president, Burns leads the university’s integrated marketing and communications programs and serves as part of the university’s senior administrative council.

A Business First of Buffalo "40 Under Forty" honoree, Burn's holds a bachelor of arts degree in broadcast communication from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an MBA in strategic management from Medaille College.
