My current research is primarily on the topic of paraphrase, and in particular the role that paraphrase plays in philosophical inquiry. Understanding this role requires thinking about the relationships between the mind and language, logic and rationality, words and the world. My interest in paraphrase is just one manifestation of a more general interest in the philosophy of philosophy, especially meta-ontology, especially as it pertains to debates about realism and anti-realism.
Prof. Keller is a member of the American Philosophical Association, the Philosophy of Time Society, and the American Catholic Philosophical Association.
