is the International Honor Society in Philosophy. Founded in 1930, it has grown to include a network of 187 in the United States and Canada. In October of 2007, Niagara University installed the New York Omega Chapter of this society and inducted its first members.
The Philosophy Department would like to encourage all eligible students to apply to be initiated into our growing Omega chapter. The requirements to join the chapter are as follows:
Joining the society requires an entry fee of 25.00. For this, you will receive copies of Dialogue, an undergraduate philosophy journal, and the PST Newsletter.
The Omega Chapter of Phi Sigma Tau will work as part of the Philosophy Club in continuing to provide forums for philosophical discussion.
If you think you are eligible and would like more information about being initiated at the instillation ceremony, please contact Dr. Bertland at bertland@niagara.edu or come by his office in Dunleavy 319.
