York's research centers.

NYSPSA Annual Conference
The
principal activity of the New York State Political Science Association is its annual two-day scholarly conference during the spring
months. Membership in the association is open to political science students and professionals inside and outside New York State, and a year's membership is automatic with registration for the conference. Calls for papers for the conference are available in September. The event usually draws 200 to 250 panelists and round table participants, and features a book display and an academic job placement service. The site of the conference rotates each year between upstate and downstate university host campuses.
NYSPSA Governance
The New York
State Political Science Association is governed by an
executive board including nine section chairs specializing in American Politics, Canadian Politics,. Comparative Politics, International Relations, Judicial Process and Law, Political Theory, Public Policy and Public Administration, State and Local Politics and Teaching and Learning.
