Helen Jermalovic ' 82 lives in Eagle River, Alaska. She has spent 12 years in Alaska, and is a member of the Public Health Service Corps. Her assignment is at the Alaska Native Medical Center, where she has focused efforts on maternal child care and developing computer skills. She devised an on-line patient classification system, and a program for retrospective and prospective staffing patterns. Helen received her M.S. from the University of Alaska, Anchorage, and is preparing to sit for the family nurse practitioner certification exam.

Amitee Albee ' 94 lives in Atlanta, Georgia, and works in in-vitro fertilization services. She has had a long-time interest in women's health and finds her position to be very rewarding. Classmates Karen Banazak and Bernadette Ingel also live in Atlanta. Karen works with a group of plastic surgeons and Bernadette works in acute care.

Sister Mary Balthasar, OSF (previously known as Sister Margaret John) who retired from the College of Nursing faculty in 1996, is currently practicing in Kenya. She lives and works in a compound, and delivers health care and education to the school children in the area.

Amy Lindquist ' 95 and Mark Moore ' 97 visited campus recently as representatives of Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, New York. Both are finding their roles exciting and interesting. They are part of a sizable contingent of Niagara graduates in Rochester.

Barbara Caporusso O'Donnell ' 95 has relocated from Long Island to Florida. She works in the surgical/trauma intensive care unit at Lee Memorial Hospital.

Suzanne Kahl Beckett ' 93 and Karen Wolf ' 93 recently visited campus to deliver a presentation on Hospice to the senior class. Both are employed at Niagara Hospice. Suzanne is clinical director and Karen is family care coordinator.

Marcia Gruber ' 75 is currently director of the Center for Gastroenterology at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. The nationally known center is at the University of Texas, Houston.

Lou Anne Neville Case ' 84 is a certified nurse midwife in private practice with two physicians in Michigan. Perinatal loss and grieving, and communicating with families are among her areas of professional interest. In addition, she had opportunity to practice internationally when she lived in Kuola Lampour, Malaysia, for four months.

Beth Martucci Garrell ' 80 is a certified nephrology nurse. She lives in Connecticut and is unit administrator for a dialysis clinic.

Lynn A. Reilly ' 78 lives in New York City and is a certified registered nurse anesthetist at Northshore Hospital. She practices in the full range of cases in the surgical arena
