The bachelor of science completion program for nurses builds on the foundation acquired in an associate degree or diploma nursing program. Core nursing courses focus on critical thinking, information literacy and communication in health care; ethical decision making; evidencebased practice; and leadership/administration. A final internship with preceptor guidance allows students to internalize and integrate the educational experience. Internships are selected specifically for each student's area of interest. General education courses, which support and expand learning, are tailored to student interests.
