A: [Alain C. Bautista] "These are available in the middle eastern countries esp. where there's a lot of foreign contract workers. Western music are not readily available in that part of the world probably because they do not have ties with the western recording companies. These cassettes are usually made in Indonesia. The VCR-look-alike casing serves as protection in that high desert heat."
