Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Mathematics

The Mathematics Department at Niagara University, a private Catholic institution sponsored by the Vincentian Community has an opening for an Assistant Professor, tenure track, to begin August 2008.

A strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, an ability to do scholarly research and a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics or related field is required.

We are looking for a candidate to teach a broad range of classes from introductory statistics to senior seminar. Candidates should possess the ability to work with students both inside and outside of the classroom including student research. Finally, the ideal candidate should be interested in teaching mathematics to pre-service teachers.

Located near the scenic Niagara Falls, Niagara University is a predominantly undergraduate liberal arts university.
