Transportation & Traffic Management Short Course Goals

There are two general goals for this short course.  First, whether you manage a carrier or purchase transportation services as a shipper, it is critical to understand the U.S. transportation industry and its financial and economic drivers.  Second, managing freight transportation is the single largest cost sector within logistics; thus understanding the basics of corporate traffic management and the cost savings opportunities are essential.

Facilitators and Speakers:

Dr. Jim Kling, Associate Professor of Business, Niagara University.  Jim has over ten years of experience in teaching, professional training, and consulting in transportation and logistics.  Jim completed his PhD. at the University of Maryland in 1989.
