Niagara University Library
Library Access Project For Students
There are two ways to obtain a book that Niagara University Library does not own. You can use the Library's Interlibrary Loan System , through which the Library will attempt to borrow the book from another library for you. Or you can make use of the Library Access Project, which will allow you to go to and check out books from other libraries in Western New York. You can get a special card to do this at Niagara University Library's reference desk. It is called a LAP or INFOPASS card and will allow you to check out books from most of the college libraries in Western New York.

The two largest public libraries in the area, Buffalo and Niagara Falls, do not participate in this program. But you can usually make arrangements with these libraries yourself to get a library card (but call ahead of time).

You can apply for a LAP/INFOPASS card at Niagara University Library's reference desk. You will need to present a validated Niagara University Student ID card. In addition, your Niagara University circulation account must be in good standing (that is, you don't have fines outstanding or an excessive record of returning books late).
