Password Request Form
If you are on campus, you have immediate access to nearly all Library databases.
Off campus access requires passwords and is limited to staff and students of Niagara University.
To request passwords for off-campus access to Library databases, please complete the form below. We will validate you and send you passwords within 24 hours.
You can also obtain passwords by:
Logging into your myNU account
(if you are
a student).
Coming to the Reference Desk.
Calling 716-286-8022.
Or sending an email request, with your name, ID number, and telephone number to reflib@niagara.edu.

- Find Journal or Newspaper Articles
- This link will lead you to full-text and bibliographic databases that can be used to search for articles.
- Use a Research Guide
- This link will lead you to a collection of research guides that will help you locate materials in various subject areas.
- Determine if the Library Subscribes to a Particular Journal,
Magazine or Newspaper
- Already have an article citation? Check here to see if the Library subscribes to the journal or newspaper.
- Search the Web or Reference Databases
- Find company information, search encyclopedias, view college catalogs, find the best web sites.
- View an Alphabetical List of Databases
- The Library provides access to hundreds of databases.
They can't all be described individually, but you will find a fairly comprehensive list here.
- View Course Readings Through Electronic Reserve
- Digitized course readings accessible anytime from any computer connected to the World Wide Web
- Order an Article or Book Through the Library's Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery Service
- Need a document or a book the Library does not own? We can try to get it for you. We can even copy articles the Library does own and send them to you.
