In the past, it has generally been difficult to obtain these materials for patrons via Interlibrary Loan. However, with a few exceptions, it is now easier than ever for Niagara University Library to obtain dissertations and theses for Niagara University faculty, staff and students!

When you request a dissertation or thesis, we will first attempt to borrow it for you from another library.

If we are unable to borrow the item from another library, then we will attempt to purchase an unbound copy of the dissertation or thesis if it is available from Bell & Howell (formerly UMI). Most dissertations and theses written at American Universities are available, even if they were written some time ago. However, we need your authorization before we will purchase a copy.
