ACRL Western New York / Ontario Chapter
Conference Planning

ACRL WNY/ONT sponsors two conferences each year. The spring and fall gathering of academic and research librarians provides a structured professional environment to hear local, regional and nationally recognized speakers give topical presentations and conduct professionally diverse workshops. The careful planning of these events are designed to give local ACRL chapter members the opportunity to learn about the latest challenges that confront library professionals and the chance to network with their peers in the region.

The location of each conference is changed to give consideration to the wide area and international make-up of the chapter.

Conference themes and speakers are chosen to invigorate and inform the membership and encourage dialogue within the profession. Members are encouraged to suggest themes, workshops, speakers and appropriate venues for any spring or fall event. Do you have a favorite speaker or conference location? Do you have a new theme idea or is there a topic you would like to hear about at a conference? Please contact:
