The students in Niagara University’s Class of 2014 have worked very hard to reach their goals and become successful graduates of NU. We hope that families of potential graduates will find the following information helpful in planning for our commencement weekend, and that you will be able to join us in the celebrations.

say goodbye to those special faculty members and administrative
personnel that made their experience here at NU exceptional.

Note: In addition to the Commencement Exercises being streamed live on the web, the Castellani Art Museum will be available for campus guests who were unable to procure a ticket to view the event in the Upper Level Gallagher Center.

For the undergraduate commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 10, 2014, a sign language interpreter and a large screen will be available in the Gallagher Center and streamed live in the Castellani Art Museum.   Accessible seating for individuals using wheelchairs in both locations will be available on a limited basis.   To seek assistance in locating this seating, you may see one of the ushers located at the entrances the day of the ceremony.   Please also note that wheelchairs will not be available onsite for use during the event.  

Each student will be issued four (4) tickets to allow family and friends to attend their commencement. Tickets are required by all who plan to attend the commencement ceremony.  No one will be admitted into the Gallagher Center without a ticket. Please note that baby strollers are prohibited.  

Tickets will be distributed by the Campus Activities Office during the following dates and times:

Week of April 22 — 25, 2014 & Monday, April 28, 2014

9:30 a.m. — 4:30 p.m.
Campus Activities Office, Lower Level Gallagher Center

Extended Hours:

Tuesday, April 22, and Monday, April 28, 2014
7-9 p.m.
Campus Activities Office, Lower Level Gallagher Center

If additional tickets are available, redistribution will take place on May 1 and 2 at 9:30 a.m. in the Gallagher Center Multi-Purpose Room on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note that the number of tickets to be redistributed may be limited.

Our senior class leaders have worked hard to put together resources, which include hotels and restaurants in the Buffalo-Niagara area to help families plan for the commencement weekend.  

We look forward to making this year’s commencement weekend a most memorable one!
