Dr. Jennifer H. Herman’s passion lies in helping adults learn: she works to develop—and help others develop—engaging, effective, and practical learning experiences that help adults and students meet their educational and professional goals. As Director of Instructional Support at Niagara University, Dr. Herman directs faculty professional development programs and assists faculty with course design, pedagogy, instructional technology, online education, and student learning outcomes assessment through a variety of workshops, conferences, and other professional development opportunities. Dr. Herman received her PhD in Higher Education from the University at Buffalo and her MA in International Training and Education from American University. In addition to her full time work, Dr. Herman has also worked as an education writing consultant for over ten years, and has designed curricula for the U.S. Department of State and the New York State Small Business Development Center. She is a part-time faculty member for Niagara University’s English department, and has taught GRE, GMAT, P/SAT, and LSAT courses for almost a decade.
