Working
with disabled individuals:
  • The National Statler Center for Careers in Hospitality Service
    Buffalo and Las Vegas locations

    Worked on development of training programs, as well as, teaching every cohort group.  This comprehensive development training program prepares individuals with disabilities for a career in the hospitality industry.
    The disabled community has over a 70% unemployment rate. The Statler Center has completed 25, thirteen-week training programs, and their employment rate is now 85+%.

Leadership
in action:
  • Villa d’Este Group
    2006 Travel + Leisure Best Hotel Spa in Europe. This leadership training involved 29 employees from four top properties in Italy.  This training was extremely successful as it developed the Excellence in Customer Service program for the Lake Como Tourism Association.
  • Trump International Hotel & Tower
    A management training program geared toward developing leaders.  Direct cost savings realized of over $100,000 per year.

Business Plan Development:

Pre- Opening Consultation:
  • Barton Hill Hotel
    During the contract period the project stayed on budget and on task.

Revenue Optimization:
  • Biltmore Hotel, Miami, Florida
    A Revenue Optimization program which was attended by 25 hoteliers representing 17 Leading Hotels throughout the US and Caribbean.  Reported revenues were increased
    by an average of $100,000 per property
  • One & Only- Reethi Rah, Republic of Maldives
    A revenue management training program for a five star $650.00 ADR resort.
    The training investment was returned in days.

Excellence in Customer Service:
  • The Premier Group
    Improved customer service that lead to increased sales and decreased employee turnover for
    New York State’s largest wine and spirits retailer.

Supervisory Training:

Professional Development Program:
  • AHLA Educational Institute and NYSHTA
    Trained hotel employees from various backgrounds to excel in their current position and to be prepared for additional responsibility.  Employees received on average an 18% increase in wages within six months.
