Students can chose to apply for federal aid for 2009-10 (summer, fall, spring) either electronically at www.fafsa.ed.gov or with a paper Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you choose to file electronically, and wish to sign you FAFSA electronically, you must have a Personal Identification Number (PIN). If you do not have a PIN, you may request one at www.pin.ed.edu.

It is your choice how to file: file electronically at www.fafsa.ed.gov (preferred) or file a paper FAFSA. If you need a paper FAFSA, you will need to call Federal Student Aid Information at 1-800-433-3243 and request one be mailed to you or you can download and complete a PDF FAFSA at www.federalstudentaid.ed.gov which must be mailed for processing.

In addition, you must submit to the Financial Aid Office the Graduate Application for Financial Assistance and a signed copy of your 2008 federal tax return. All forms must be received in sufficient time for the Financial Aid Office to process your application before the enrollment period ends.
