Bachelor of Arts in French in the College of Arts and Sciences

Liberal Arts Requirement:   9 foundation courses;  11 distribution courses

Major Requirement:

FRE 205-206 Advanced Conversational French and Composition

FRE 308 Cultural History of France

ONE Francophone Culture Elective: FRE 305 or FRE 306 or FRE 307

TWO French or Francohone Electives at the 200 or 300 level

ONE French or Francophone Elective at the 300 or 400 level

TWO literature electives at the 400 level

FRE 425 Senior Seminar

Minor Requirement:  six course units, one of which must be a course in culture.
