Incoming first-year students will receive information from Admissions regarding the new student portal, which can be found at www.niagara.edu/new-student. Complete the housing application on the portal by June 15, 2013, in order to request on-campus housing for the 2013-2014 academic year.

Once the housing application is received, Residence Life staff will work to pair ALL first-year students with a roommate, using the following method: 

1. Roommate assignments are based on responses given on the housing application.
2. All roommate requests must be mutual. Students can make roommate requests either by indicating their preferred roommate's name on the housing application or by making a written request to the Residence Life Office. Requests must be made by July 16, 2013.
3. Housing assignments will be available in late July. Students can access their housing assignment and roommate's information on myNU.

Residence Life highly recommends that students contact their roommate prior to arriving on campus to discuss future living arrangements.
