Students can chose to apply for federal aid for 2007-08 (summer, fall, spring) either electronically at www.fafsa.ed.gov or with a paper Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you choose to file electronically, and wish to sign you FAFSA electronically, you must have a Personal Identification Number (PIN). If you do not have a PIN, you may request one at www.pin.ed.edu.
It is your choice how to file: file electronically at www.fafsa.ed.gov (preferred) or file a paper FAFSA. If you need a paper FAFSA, please contact the Financial Aid Office. In addition, you must submit to the Financial Aid Office the Graduate Application for Financial Assistance and a signed copy of your 2006 federal tax return. All forms must be received in sufficient time for the Financial Aid Office to process your application before the enrollment period ends.

If you need a paper FAFSA, you will need to call Federal Student Aid Information at 1-800-433-3243 and request one be mailed to you or you can download and complete a PDF FAFSA at www.federalstudentaid.ed.gov which must be mailed for processing.
