The English Department has created a discussion group for students who are majoring or minoring in English, English Education, or Writing Studies. The discussion group is available through Google Groups. You can choose to receive messages in e-mail, or you can visit the Web page for the discussion group and read messages on the Web.

The group will allow you to read and post messagess. You are invited to ask questions, post opinions, and to get to know your fellow English and Writing Studies students. Faculty will also be available to answer questions and provide opinions, so make sure that you don't post anything that you don't want them to read.

Subscribing to the group

To subscribe to the group, enter your email into the box below and click on the Subscribe button.

Posting to the Group

To send a new message to the group, you have two choices:

1. Send an e-mail to NUEnglish@googlegroups.com
   OR
2. Visit the group discussion page and click on Start a new topic... to post your topic.

To reply to existing messages, you can use the reply button in your e-mail client or click on the reply link on a topic's Web page.
