Purpose of Universal Design of Instruction/Learning Grant
The purpose of the grant is to provide faculty with resources to enable them to design their instruction to enhance the teaching and learning of students with different backgrounds, learning styles, abilities, and disabilities.
Grants addressing the following themes are especially encouraged and will receive preference:
- Present information and content in different ways
- Differentiate the ways that students can express themselves
- Stimulate interest and motivation for learning
- Use of technology to enhance learning/instruction

Starting freshman year, Niagara students can roll up their sleeves and work one-on-one with their professors on primary research studies. Many go on to present their findings at the annual Niagara University Undergraduate Research Conference, at state and regional research conferences, or at professional conferences in their fields of study.
