Deirdre Bartholomew is the new dining manager at Niagara University.
Niagara University is pleased to announce that Deirdre Bartholomew has been named the new dining manager for Sodexo, the company that provides dining and hospitality services on campus.
Bartholomew brings extensive experience in food service, marketing and operations management to her new role at NU, having been employed by Sodexo for the last 14 years. She has worked almost exclusively in higher education, including stops at Pace, Fordham and Wilkes universities. For the past five years, Bartholomew has served as Sodexo’s general manager at Buffalo State College.
Bartholomew earned an associate degree in business administration from Erie Community College. She also studied at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y., where she specialized in baking and pastries.
The Niagara University community will formally welcome Bartholomew to campus on Jan. 26. with “Meet and Greets” scheduled for 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 5 – 6:30 p.m. in Clet Dining Hall.
